1) What is MAX App
MAX App is a suite of security tools based on mathematics and modern cryptography (including SPHINCS+ for digital signatures — standardized by NIST — and FrodoKEM for key exchange — studied within the NIST PQC project).
The main modules include: MAX Login, MAX Chat, MAX Prime, MAX Lock, MAX Signature.
2) Privacy and Confidentiality (summary)
- MAX App does not collect or store personal data (no email, name, phone number).
- Phrases, keys, messages, and files remain solely on your device.
- Any signed/encrypted packages are sent only when you choose to do so (for example, for login/verification purposes); such packages do not contain personal data.
- Permissions (camera, files, photos) are used only when you explicitly require them. For full details, see the official Privacy Policy available in the app and on the website.

3) Security: what the app does and does NOT do
- MAX App encrypts and signs content but does not analyze the content of files or messages.
- MAX App is not an antivirus, antimalware, or content filter.
- Opening, downloading, and executing files from third parties is entirely at your own risk. Use proper digital hygiene and dedicated antivirus tools where appropriate.
4) “Beta” status and availability
- MAX App is provided in a Beta version, although stable for personal use.
- Features, algorithms, and interfaces may evolve; occasional issues may occur (network conditions, system updates, temporary problems).
- The author may modify or suspend functions or services without prior notice.
5) User responsibility
- You are responsible for keeping your phrases/keys secure and not sharing them.
- If you lose your phrases, they cannot be recovered. Consider secure backups under your own responsibility.
- You are responsible for the content you send/receive and for using it in compliance with applicable laws.
6) Limitation of liability and indemnification
- MAX App is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties (including, without limitation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or continuous availability).
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or any other type of damage or loss (including data loss, service interruption, malware infections from third-party files, misuse of the app, or content exchanged through the app).
- By proceeding, you agree to indemnify and hold the author harmless from any liability arising from the use of the app and/or from the exchange or handling of files and content through the app.
7) Permitted use and prohibitions
The app must not be used for:
- Illegal activities.
- Distribution of malware or unlawful content.
- Attempts to bypass or interfere with security systems.
- Violations of intellectual property or others’ privacy.
8) Intellectual property
- The code, trademarks, logos, texts, and design of MAX App are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- The user does not acquire any intellectual property rights over the app or its components.
9) Updates to these Terms
- These Terms may be updated. In the event of significant changes, the app may require renewed acceptance before use.
10) Duration, withdrawal, and uninstallation
- You may stop using the app at any time.
- Before uninstalling, export or save any local data you consider important: uninstalling removes all data stored on the device.
11) Governing law
- Unless otherwise required by mandatory local regulations, these Terms are governed by Italian law.
- Any dispute shall be addressed before the court determined by applicable law.
